Tomorrow is FOMC and traders are pricing in a 25bps hike although after that we could be seeking pauses, especially with so many problems in the banking system.

A bet on a 25bps hike contract on Kalshi currently returns a 7.5% gain if traded.

This could be a repeat of the 2004-2006 cycle where this was the peak in hikes:
