So the markets have continued their upwards trend as of late leading to many huge breakouts. The key to continue trading here is to find the theme and more importantly find the undervalued companies that are lagging and/or are gaining volume or momentum. After doing some research I’ve compiled a list here of five stocks I think can perform well as a swing trade. When I say swing I’m mostly talking about options 1-2 months time out, but you can play these however you like.
AI 0.00%↑ ASTS 0.00%↑ MARA 0.00%↑ CURV 0.00%↑ DDD 0.00%↑
1. Long AI 0.00%↑ . Nice chart breakout here with stocks in this sector moving as well. This was at highs of almost $200 near its IPO, so there’s a lot of space to the upside here as well. PT 27 SL 20.
2. Long ASTS 0.00%↑ . Beautiful chart breakout and hold today, nice catalysts coming up as well. With positive catalyst news the 28% short interest can squeeze the a little. PT 11 SL 8.95.
3. Long MARA 0.00%↑ . Bitcoin is actually making nice moves. Though I think it will top out around 28-30K I think the miners have one last move to make before we can short them again. Watching for a move over 17.50 to tap 20. Call flow is great here, this is more of a momentum play, so cut quickly once trend breaks, which is why I’m keeping stop tight. PT 20 SL 16.30.
4. Long CURV 0.00%↑ . This is my short squeeze pick here. Lots of volume and momentum and no earnings to worry about for the near future. Also with today’s move up, I bet the 50% short interest of this stock will send it for a squeeze. A close over 6.50 is a big trigger over there. PT: 9 SL: 5.9
5. Long DDD 0.00%↑. Recent earnings which investors look to be buying the dip on here. Nice gap to fill and recent buying volume which I like, but essentially the chart is just retesting it’s breakout level here. PT 18 SL 11.
